Frequently Asked Questions
For Parents
How do I know this is the right place for my child?
Our staff is highly trained and experienced in working with adolescents, young adults, and their families with substance abuse problems.
We believe that “the therapeutic value of one addict helping another is without parallel” (NA basic text)
Both Allison and Adam entered into substance abuse treatment at a young age. Therefore, they have a unique ability to understand and sympathize with the process that you and your child are going through.
We welcome you to make an appointment with our staff and tour our facility. We also recommned you schedule an evaluation. During the evaluation, we will determine the best treatment option for the family. Sometimes staff recommends no treatment, sometimes individual or family therapy, sometimes residential treatment, and sometimes our program. In the evaluation the staff will discuss the options, listen to your family’s thoughts and feelings, and help your family make the decision together.
We also invite your child to schedule a visit with other participants.

The Solutions program is not on any insurance or managed care networks. The program was designed to be outside the health insurance system because health insurance typically limits the amount and length of treatment. We want treatment to be based upon the needs of the young people not the dictates of insurance companies.
If you have health insurance that covers this treatment, we will provide insurance forms for you to send to the company. Any reimbursement from insurance will be mailed directly to the Insured. It is most important to call your insurance company before starting the program to find out if there is any coverage for an out-of-network intensive outpatient program and what pre-certification requirements there may be.
