Frequently Asked Questions

For Professionals

Do you treat other disorders besides substance abuse?

In our program we have young people with depression, anxiety disorders, ADD/ADHD, bipolar disorder, etc. We are a substance abuse treatment facility; therefore, each clients primary diagnosis must be a substance abuse/dependence disorder. The primary purpose of group therapy is to treat the substance abuse issues. However, we strongly encourage individual and family therapy for treating and managing dual diagnosis. All of our therapists are trained mental health professionals capable of dealing with these problems in a holistic manner. However, we also acknowledge the value of using outside specialist when needed.

How do I refer a client to you?

Either you or your client can call 678-624-0930 and speak with Dr. Margolis or one of our staff.

If I refer my client to you, can I still work with him/her?

Yes, you can. We appreciate the help of other professionals.

Do you communicate with me while my client is in your program?

Yes. When clients start the program, they are assigned a case manager. The case manager is your primary point of contact for updates about client status. We typically provide updates at the beginning and end of treatment as well as periodically during treatment, especially during critical junctures of the therapeutic process. At any time, you may telephone the case manager for additional information.
